I'm pretty sure that only one person reads my blog (Love you Kylee!) but I suppose it's a good way for me to vent. So who cares how many people read it? Anyway, I'm going to "power" blog today. Just too tired to do anything else...
Today has been a bad day for me. Just tiring. The kids have danced on my nerves all day long. I love them to pieces, but geeze! Liam has been whiney and has hit a stage now that he thinks naps are for weenies. I just spent 45 minutes rocking my little Bubby, just for him to lay there and stare at me. I love that time with him though. But, Tessa had to have a bath, she's covered in red kool-aid and cookie dough. I finally just had to lay Bubby down and go take care of bath time. Wouldn't you know the little bugger went right to sleep when I laid him down? He NEVER does that! So now, Princess is squeaky clean, and Bubby is peacefully visiting dreamland. It's too quiet! Chuck is gone to band practice, so I find myself sitting here tapping on keys. Not even sure of what I'm saying at this point!
I've tried to clean house today. I've worked so much lately that the house looks like a national disaster. My mom is coming up to visit on Sunday, but she has to leave Monday night. She lives 8 hours away. I haven't seen her since I went to her house in March, so she hasn't met Bubby yet. Sure, she's seen pictures, but it's not like getting to hold him and play with him, and making him smile and laugh. I can't wait for her to get here! Now, if only the cleaning fairies would visit, I would be one happy mom....
So, I think I've kept this fairly short-winded, but once again, I really have no clue what I've said so I apologize if it makes no sense at all....
